Eight weeks after our first Alwal page, we searched three things a household between Old Alwal and Lothkunta pays for: a dentist, a gym and a two wheeler service centre. Of the first 30 results, none belonged to a business's own website. Twenty seven were directory or listing pages. Three were brand locator pages, two for a TVS dealer in Surya Nagar and one from a lubricant brand for a car workshop in Alwal Hills. Alwal is the fifth belt in this series and the first where no business of any trade searched answered its own search.
This is the fifth second pass after ECIL, A S Rao Nagar, Kompally and Kapra, and it follows our first Alwal page from 10 September, which covered the circle's three divisions, the pockets a resident actually names, and the address problem that comes from having more names than any other locality in the belt.
What did the three searches return?
Dentist in Alwal. Ten results, all directories: four DocIndia pages, two of them Hyderabad wide lists at page 23 and page 26, two Drlogy pages, a myUpchar list, a Bajaj Finserv Health profile, a WhatClinic list and a yappe listing. Behind them are real clinics with real addresses: Access Dental Hospital on Golnaka Alwal Main Road near the HDFC branch, open ten to ten; i-Dental above the Central Bank near the IG Statue in Old Alwal; Sunshine Dental Care and Sundari Dental on Temple Road. The directories quoted fees of 100, 200 and 100 to 300 rupees, which is the directory's form speaking, not the clinic. Not one clinic had a page of its own in the ten, and the same dentist appeared on three directories under three pocket names, Alwal, Old Alwal and Secunderabad.
Gym in Alwal. Ten results, nine from one gym directory, LyfSkills, and one from the Cult fitness pass platform. The directory had done its work: it placed VR Fitness on the fourth floor above the Ratnadeep near the Ambedkar statue on Old Alwal Road with 154 reviews at 4.6, ProFitness on the second floor of Raj Plaza in Ram Nagar Colony with 206 reviews at 4.9, Afterburn at SVB Square near HMT Colony Road with 366 reviews, and four more across the circle; one result was a gym in Kompally. A gym with 206 reviews at 4.9 has no page under its own name in the search a new resident runs.
Two wheeler service centre in Alwal. Ten results, none a garage's own page. Two were TVS dealer locator pages for Laxmi Motors in Surya Nagar, one of them the Hindi version. One was a lubricant brand's workshop locator for Sri Mallikarjuna Motors on Road 12, Alwal Hills, described as a car service centre. One was a doorstep repair platform's Alwal page. The other six were directory pages: auto rickshaw workshops in Hindi, a bike rental, showroom and service centre lists. The engine's own summary said it had found no authorised two wheeler centre in Alwal. The garages along Old Alwal Road and the MES road were not in the result.
The original number. Across 3 Alwal trade searches run on 5 November 2026 (dentist in Alwal Secunderabad; gym in Alwal Secunderabad; two wheeler service centre Alwal Secunderabad), the first 10 results of each were counted, 30 in all: 0 business owned pages; 27 directory, listing or platform pages (DocIndia 4, LyfSkills 9, Drlogy 2, myUpchar, Bajaj Finserv Health, WhatClinic, yappe, Cult, 91trucks 2, magicpin, Explurger, BikeDekho, Bikewale, Ride N Repair); 3 brand dealer or workshop locator pages (TVS 2, TotalEnergies 1). The same dentist appeared on 3 directories under 3 pocket names. Gyms visible only through the directory, with their review counts: ProFitness 206, Afterburn 366, VR Fitness 154, Muscle World 35, Nayak's 31, Lal's 26. Logged as data ledger entry 77, a first party read by the same method as our four earlier second passes; the search tool returned 18 to 20 links per query today, so the first ten of each were counted.
Why Alwal came out at zero
Alwal is the first belt with no owned page at all, and the reason is in the first page we wrote about it. A business here can honestly give its address as Old Alwal, Temple Alwal, Lothkunta, Alwal Hills or Secunderabad 500010, and the directories do, each picking a different one. A clinic that has let three directories describe it three ways has handed the engine three half matches and no whole one. The page that fixes it is the page that says all the names at once: the pocket, the circle, the post office and the landmark, in one address block, the way a resident gives directions to an auto driver.
The gyms show the other half of the problem. They have the reviews, and the reviews sit on a map listing that a directory scrapes and republishes with the floor number. It needs to be the page the directory's row links to, and today that link goes nowhere.
What a dentist, a gym or a garage here should do this month
One page on your own domain, written the way you give directions: above the Central Bank at the IG Statue junction, fourth floor above the Ratnadeep near the Ambedkar statue, on the MES road before the Loyola gate. For a clinic, the dentist by name with registration, the treatments in plain words, the timings, the fee if you choose to publish it and the month it was set. For a gym, the floor, the hours, the monthly and annual fee, and the month the fee was set. For a garage, the brands you service, whether you are authorised for any of them, the hours and a WhatsApp number that is answered. Then the Google profile and every directory profile with the same words and the same pocket name, and a link back to the page. The page is for the resident who wants to check you are real, and in three trades across this circle, nobody passes that check today.
Our north Hyderabad pages cover the belt from Sainikpuri through Alwal to Kompally, and the Marketing Operating System is the weekly rhythm that runs these counts and comes back eight weeks later to see what moved. In Alwal, since September, nothing moved.
Frequently asked questions
Why does a dentist in Alwal with a fee of 100 rupees on a directory need a page of its own?
Because on 5 November 2026 all ten results for dentist in Alwal Secunderabad were directory pages, and the fees they showed, 100, 200, 100 to 300, were set by the directory's form, not by the clinic. A page on the clinic's own domain carries the dentist's name and registration, the treatments in plain words, the timings, the landmark, the fee if the clinic chooses to publish it, and a WhatsApp route, and it is the page a patient opens to check the directory was right. Today no Alwal dental clinic has one in the result.
My gym has 200 reviews at 4.9. Why does it not show up for gym in Alwal?
The reviews live on a map listing and the ten results for gym in Alwal Secunderabad on 5 November 2026 were nine pages from one gym directory and one from a fitness pass platform, each quoting the rating and the floor number from the map. A gym with 206 reviews and no page of its own is visible only on the directory's terms. One page with the address, the floor, the hours, the monthly fee and the month it was set puts it in the result under its own name.
Is there an authorised two wheeler service centre in Alwal at all?
The search returned none in its first ten: two brand locator pages for a TVS dealer in Surya Nagar, a lubricant brand's locator for a car workshop in Alwal Hills, a doorstep repair platform's Alwal page, and six directory pages, two of them in Hindi for auto rickshaw workshops. The garages on Old Alwal Road and the MES road exist and were not in the result. A garage that puts its address, the brands it services and its hours on one page would be the only one there.
What should an Alwal business do first?
Run the search a customer would run, with the trade and the word Alwal, and count how many results belong to a business. On 5 November 2026 the answer for dentists, gyms and garages was zero of thirty. One plain page with the address, the pocket name a resident uses, Old Alwal, Temple Alwal, Lothkunta, the hours and a dated price or timetable puts you alone in the result. Our first Alwal page from September explains why the pocket name matters more here than anywhere else in the belt.
