On 9 October 2026 we asked an AI search tool the simplest question in our tracker, our own name, and its answer began with the words sources disagree. It found a founding year of 2022 in the structured data on our own homepage and an incorporation date of 11 May 2018 in the company registry. It found a Sainikpuri office on our site and a registered office in the Cherlapally industrial area in the registry entry. It noted that employee counts and revenue estimates vary widely between aggregator sites, and that our Clutch profile shows zero verified reviews. Every sentence was accurate. None of it was something we had written down anywhere a customer could read it.
This is a Friday post about AI search, the work this site calls AI search optimisation, meaning being the business ChatGPT, Gemini or an AI search tool names and describes correctly when someone asks. It is the practical version: what the engine said about us, why, and the five record check any Hyderabad business can run in ten minutes.
What did the engine actually say about Vridhii?
The brand query is the one line in our weekly tracker that always returns us, so it is the one we read least carefully. The sampled links were the usual ten: DesignRush, Clutch, Agency Spotter, ZoomInfo, ZaubaCorp, two Tracxn profiles and three pages of our own, the homepage, the portfolio and the education page. Three owned pages in ten is the most we have had, and that is the good news.
The summary above those links is the part that matters, because it is the part a buyer reads. It described the business correctly, a workflow led agency in Sainikpuri doing search, ads, brand identity and automation for founders in India, the US, the UK and the UAE. Then it listed what it could not reconcile. Founding year: our schema says 2022, the registry says 2018. Address: our site says Sainikpuri, the registry says Cherlapally. Size and revenue: the aggregators disagree with each other. Reviews: Clutch, zero verified. It closed by recommending that a reader contact us directly to verify the company.
That last line is the cost. An engine that cannot reconcile a record does not refuse to name you; it names you with a warning. For a buyer comparing two agencies at 10 pm, a warning is a reason to open the other tab.
The original number. Of 10 sampled results for the brand query Vridhii Digital on 9 October 2026, 3 were owned pages and 7 were third party profiles. The engine's summary flagged 2 fields on which our own site and the public registry disagree, founding year and office address, and 1 field on which third party aggregators disagree with each other. Logged as data ledger entry 59, a first party read of our own brand query, the same check we last published on 25 September for the word boutique.
Why does our own site disagree with the registry?
Because, as far as we can tell, both are true and neither page says so. Vridhii Digital Private Limited was incorporated on 11 May 2018, which is the registry's fact. The homepage schema carries 2022, and our own summary file for AI engines says four plus years, which points to 2022 as the year the studio took its current form. The founder confirms which is which this week, and that is the point: a founder knows those are one company at two stages, while an engine reading two documents that each name one year without the other sees a contradiction.
The address is the same shape. The registered office in the Cherlapally industrial area is where the company's filings sit, and it is public record, which is why ZaubaCorp and Tracxn publish it. The operating address customers visit is on Hi-Tension Road in Sainikpuri, which is what our LocalBusiness schema, our Google profile and every page footer carry. Both facts are correct. The site states one of them.
There is a third disagreement the engine did not raise this week but will. The footer on 35 of our pages reads Hyderabad, Dubai, London, while our international page, written on 1 October, says plainly that we have no office abroad and work for UK and UAE clients from Hyderabad. That one is not two stages of one truth. It is a line we need to choose, and it is on the list below.
The five record check, in order
One. Search your own name in an AI search tool and read the summary, not the links. Write down every sentence that contains disagree, differ, inconsistent, unverified or contact them directly. Those are the fields costing you confidence. Our 11 September post on checking whether AI search cites you covers the mechanics; this step is the same check turned on yourself.
Two. List the records the engine is reading. For a Hyderabad private company there are usually five: the company registry, which feeds ZaubaCorp and Tracxn; the GST record, which feeds IndiaMART and Justdial; the Google Business Profile; your own site's schema and footer; and the agency directories, Clutch, DesignRush, GoodFirms, which copy from whichever of the first four they found first.
Three. Pick one truth per field and write it as one sentence. Founded: incorporated 2018, operating as this studio since 2022. Address: registered office Cherlapally, studio Sainikpuri. Offices: Hyderabad only, serving the UK and the UAE from here. The sentence has to carry both halves, because the engine already knows both halves.
Four. Put the sentence where the engine reads first. Your own site, on the about or contact page, and in the Organization schema, where foundingDate can be joined by a plain description that names both years. Then the Google profile, then the directories, in that order, because the directories refresh from the first two.
Five. Ask two clients for the review the engine says you do not have. Zero verified reviews on Clutch is not a lie about us; it is a field we left empty and the engine reported it. An empty field is read as a weak signal, not as a neutral one.
What we are changing, and what we are asking first
The schema fix is small and is proposed, not yet made: the Organization block on the homepage should carry both the incorporation year and the year the studio took its current form, in a description field, so the two records agree. The registered office should be named as such on the contact page beside the studio address. Both wait one week for the founder to confirm the years, because a fix that guesses would be a third version of the truth.
The footer line is not ours to make alone. Hyderabad, Dubai, London on 35 pages against no office abroad on one is a decision about what the business claims, so it is on the founder's desk this week rather than in a commit. Until it is decided, the international page's version is the one we would defend to an engine, because it is the one with a date on it.
This is the second time in a fortnight our own records have taught us the lesson we sell. On 25 September it was the word boutique, used nine times and said twice. Today it is a year and an address. The Marketing Operating System is the weekly rhythm that catches these before a buyer does, and our AI search page describes the work for a business that would rather we ran the check for them.
Frequently asked questions
Why does an AI engine care which year a business was founded?
Because it builds a single record of you from every source it can read, and a field that disagrees between sources lowers its confidence in the whole record. On 9 October 2026 the engine answering for Vridhii found 2022 in our own page schema and 11 May 2018 in the company registry, and said so. A business it is unsure about is a business it names less.
Which record wins when the registry and the website disagree?
Neither, in the engine's eyes; it reports both. In your eyes, the registry is the fact and the website is the story, so the website should carry both: incorporated in 2018, operating as the studio you see since 2022, in one sentence. One sentence on one page ends the disagreement everywhere the engine reads.
Should the registered office go on the website if we do not work from it?
Yes, as a registered office, labelled as such, on the contact or about page, beside the address customers visit. Directories already publish it from the registry. Saying it yourself, with the label, turns a contradiction into two facts.
How often should a business run this check?
Once a quarter, and after any change to a page that carries schema. The check takes ten minutes: search your own name in an AI search tool, read every sentence that begins with sources disagree, and fix the record it names. We run ours every Friday as part of the tracker, which is how we caught this one.
