If you run a business in Hyderabad and want somebody to take the Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook accounts off your plate in 2026, here is the shortlist by fit, not by follower count. Social DNA for a company that wants a large, long established social agency with a team in the forties. Iron Roots for a brand that wants management, strategy and paid social from one Hyderabad team. Socialiency for a founder who wants a specialist social shop that the trade press has profiled. 8 Views for a brand that wants social content and film from the same studio. GutBits Media for a realtor, resort or hospitality brand whose social budget is mostly ads. And Vridhii Digital, our own agency in Sainikpuri, for a founder who wants social content made inside a marketing plan that also builds the page the posts lead to, in Hyderabad or overseas.
We are last on our own list on purpose. The criteria come before the names, and further down we say plainly who should not hire us.
A word on the words. A social media marketing agency plans, writes, designs and posts what a business publishes on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube, replies to what comes back, and sometimes runs the ads on the same platforms. Search engine optimisation, SEO for short, is showing up on Google without paying per click. AI search optimisation, AIO on this site, is being the business ChatGPT or Gemini names when someone asks for a recommendation. We spell them out because almost nobody in India types the acronyms, and because the last two are where a social agency's words end up being read.
How we picked this list
Four tests, applied in this order.
First, the agency had to be findable for a search a founder would actually run. We searched social media marketing agency Hyderabad, best social media marketing agencies in Hyderabad 2026, and social media management agency Hyderabad monthly cost, on 2 November 2026, and read the first ten results of each as they came, 30 results in all.
Second, the agency had to sell social media as its named trade, not list it as one line among twelve services.
Third, we looked for something beyond a claim: a registered address, a founding year, a team size, a named client with a month attached, a review with a date.
Fourth, each agency had to be strongest at something different, because a list where everyone is good at everything helps nobody choose.
Two disclosures. We compete with some of the firms here, so read us accordingly. And we interviewed nobody. We read what the search engine shows about each firm, which is what a founder reads on a phone before deciding whom to call.
What we found reading 30 results
The first thing you notice is that the category belongs to two directories. Of the 30 results, 22 were directory pages: eleven from Clutch and eight from DesignRush, with Qoruz and Krowdbase holding the other three. The first search returned seven Clutch pages in its first ten, most of them list pages for digital marketing or advertising agencies in Hyderabad rather than social media pages, and Clutch's own social media list for the city counts 327 companies. The second search, the one with the year in it, returned seven DesignRush pages in its first ten, four of them deep pages of an all India ranking and two the Hyderabad ranking, which DesignRush says it updated on 2 July 2026 and which carries 82 companies, some of them sponsored placements.
The second thing is who answers the money question. The cost search returned four Clutch pages and six explainer pages from vendors: two from a Mumbai agency's pricing guide, three from two scheduling software companies, and one from a Noida agency. Not one was a Hyderabad agency saying what it charges. The only Indian figures in the whole read come from that Mumbai guide, and we use them below with that caveat attached.
The third thing is the trade press. One result in 30 was a feature on a Hyderabad agency written by somebody other than a directory or the agency itself: a Social Samosa profile of Socialiency from 2020. The two YourStory lists that sat just outside the first ten are from 2018 and 2020. For a trade that changes its platform every eighteen months, the public record of who is good at it in Hyderabad is five years old.
The fourth thing matters most. Not one of the 30 results was a Hyderabad agency's own website, and not one, directory or explainer, showed a Hyderabad client's result with a month beside it. The figures on offer were a founding year, a head count, an hourly band, a project size, each attached to no campaign a reader could judge.
The original number. Of 30 first page results for three social media agency searches on 2 November 2026, 22 were directory or review platform pages (Clutch 11, DesignRush 8, Krowdbase 2, Qoruz 1), 6 were vendor explainer pages (an agency pricing guide 2, scheduling software blogs 3, a Noida agency 1), 1 was a trade press feature, and 1 was a self published document on a data hosting site. 0 of the 30 were a Hyderabad agency's own website, and 0 showed a Hyderabad client's result with a date. This is a first party reading logged in our data ledger as entry 74. One caveat: our own network would not open the agency domains on the day, so this reads what the search engine shows about each firm, not the pages themselves.
The comparison
| Agency | Base | How it reached the results | Dated client result on the page | Strongest at |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Social DNA | Hyderabad, since 2013 | Directory profile | No | A large, established social team for a brand with volume |
| Iron Roots | Hyderabad | Clutch listing | No | Management, strategy, branding and paid social from one team |
| Socialiency | Hyderabad | Trade press feature | No | A specialist social shop with a public profile of how it works |
| 8 Views | Hyderabad | Directory ranking | No | Social content and film from the same studio |
| GutBits Media | Hyderabad | Directory lists for realtors and resorts | No | Social advertising for property and hospitality |
| Vridhii Digital | Sainikpuri, Hyderabad | Not in these results | No, none published yet | Social content inside a plan that also builds the page and the search presence, India and overseas |
We fail the test we set, like everyone else here, and our page did not appear in any of the three searches. We have a homepage that says social content is one of the things we run and a studio page for the film side. What we do not have is a client's social result with a month beside it, and until we publish one, this row says so.
Who each agency actually fits
Social DNA
The strongest fit for a company that posts a lot, across several brands or several cities, and wants a team that has done this for over a decade. Its listing gives a founding year of 2013 and a head count in the forties, which is large for a Hyderabad social agency. Ask which account manager you would actually get, because a team that size has a bench, and ask for the oldest client still with them.
Iron Roots
Worth a conversation if you want the management, the strategy, the branding and the paid social under one roof rather than three vendors. Its Clutch listing describes exactly that spread. Ask what the fee covers when the ads start, because an agency that manages both the organic and the paid side should price the two separately and be able to show you which one produced the enquiries.
Socialiency
Call them if you want a shop that does social and only social, and that has let a trade publication describe how it works. The Social Samosa feature is from 2020, so ask what has changed since, which platforms they have dropped, and what a month of their work for a business like yours looks like now.
The right call if the posts you need are mostly film: reels, short product films, a founder on camera. The same studio appeared in our AI video read last week through the same directories. Ask how much of the month is production and how much is posting and replying, because the two are priced differently and often by different people.
GutBits Media
Consider them if you sell property, rooms or tables and the social budget is mostly ads. The agency appears on Krowdbase's 2026 lists for realtors, resorts and software companies in Hyderabad. Ask what a lead cost them for a comparable client last quarter, and whether the number includes the agency fee or only the platform spend.
Vridhii Digital
A small agency in Sainikpuri. We write and design social content as one part of a plan that also builds the page the posts lead to, the search presence that outlasts any single post, and the weekly reading of what came in. We work for founders in Hyderabad and for founders in the UK, the US and the UAE who want an Indian team. We have not published a client's social result beside a dated number, and we are telling you that before you ask.
What moves the price up and down
Nobody on this list publishes a Hyderabad rate card. The one Indian guide in our read, published by upGrowth, a Mumbai agency, puts a basic package of eight to twelve feed posts and ten to fifteen stories a month at twenty to forty thousand rupees, a freelancer at fifteen to fifty thousand, a small agency retainer at thirty thousand to one and a half lakh, and a full service agency at one lakh to five lakh and above. Clutch shows Hyderabad social projects averaging under ten thousand dollars, and the DesignRush ranking shows hourly bands from fifteen to seventy five dollars. These are one vendor's reading of the market and two directories' self reported bands, not quotes. Our pricing post covers the general case; these five variables are specific to social.
Platform count is the first. A plan for Instagram alone is a different job from Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube, because each one wants a different shape of post and a different reply rhythm. Ask for the price per platform, and notice whether the fourth one is nearly free, which tells you it will get nearly no attention.
Production is the second. A month of stock images with captions, a month of designed carousels, and a month with two shoot days produce three different fees, and an agency quoting one number for all three is pricing its habit. Ask what is made, by whom, and whether your own product and people appear in it.
Volume is the third. Generative tools have made the twentieth caption cheap, and an agency that knows this prices volume low and the thinking high. Ask what the price of ten more posts a month is; if it is proportional, you are paying for typing.
Paid media is the fourth, and the one most often blurred. Whether the ad spend sits inside the fee or beside it, whether the agency takes a percentage of it, and who owns the ad account when you leave. Ask for the fee and the spend as two numbers, always.
Reading is the fifth. Somebody has to look every week at what the posts produced in enquiries, not likes, and change next week's plan because of it. That hour is where the result comes from, and it is the first thing a cheap package drops. Ask who does it and when you see it.
Our own pricing page explains how we scope work like this without a rate card, because the five variables above decide the number, not a package name.
Who should not hire Vridhii
A brand that needs sixty posts a month across five platforms should call Social DNA, not us. We are a small team and the posts are one part of the plan, not the production line.
A company that wants an influencer campaign should call an influencer specialist; Clutch has a Hyderabad list for exactly that. We do not run creator networks.
A buyer whose metric is followers should look elsewhere. We read enquiries, and we will say so in the first meeting.
And a company that wants the posts and nothing else touched will find us difficult. We will ask where the link in the bio goes before we write the bio.
Five questions to ask before you sign anything
Ask to see one client's enquiries, not followers, for a named month, and what the agency changed the following month because of them. None of the 30 results on 2 November 2026 put such a number on the page, so the answer tells you more than the profile.
Ask for the fee and the ad spend as two separate numbers, and who owns the ad account and the page admin rights when the engagement ends.
Ask what is produced each month, by whom, and whether your own product, premises and people will appear in it or stock will.
Ask who reads the results every week and when you see what they read.
Ask what happens if the third month produces nothing, and listen for whether they describe a change of plan or a longer contract.
Choosing the agency is one chapter of a larger framework. The Marketing Operating System is how we keep this work accountable week by week rather than in a quarterly deck nobody opens. Our performance marketing shortlist covers the ads side of the same decision, our small business shortlist the general one, and last Friday's post on directories explains why every agency on this page reached you through Clutch or DesignRush and not through its own site.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a social media agency in Hyderabad charge a month?
No Hyderabad agency in our 2 November 2026 read publishes a rate card. The one Indian guide the search engine surfaced, from a Mumbai agency called upGrowth, puts a basic package of eight to twelve posts and ten to fifteen stories at twenty to forty thousand rupees a month, a small agency retainer at thirty thousand to one and a half lakh, and a full service agency at one lakh upward. Clutch shows Hyderabad project sizes averaging under ten thousand dollars and DesignRush shows hourly bands from fifteen to seventy five dollars. Treat all of these as a market reading, not a quote.
Which social media agencies in Hyderabad are actually findable?
Through directories only. Of 30 first page results for three searches on 2 November 2026, 22 were directory pages, Clutch eleven and DesignRush eight, and not one was a Hyderabad agency's own website. The agencies behind the listings include Social DNA, Iron Roots, Socialiency, 8 Views, GutBits Media, Nick Metrics and Edisol. Clutch alone lists 327 social media marketing companies in Hyderabad, which is why the shortlist above starts with criteria rather than names.
Should a small business hire an agency or a freelancer for social media?
Decide by what the account is for. If it exists to look alive, with a post a day and a reply within the hour, a freelancer at the lower end of the market range does that well. If it exists to produce enquiries, somebody has to connect the posts to a page, a form and a number that is read every week, and that is an agency job or a very good freelancer's. Ask either one what happened to the last client's enquiries, not followers, in the third month.
What does a social media agency have to do with AI search optimisation?
Search engine optimisation, SEO, is showing up on Google without paying per click. AI search optimisation, AIO on this site, is being the business an AI tool names when someone asks for a recommendation. Social posts rarely feed either directly, but the profile text, the pinned posts and the link in the bio are read by the same engines that read your website, so an agency that writes the Instagram bio and the website in different words is making the engine guess which one is you.
Why is Vridhii last on its own list?
Because a list where the author wins every category is advertising, not advice. We run social content as one part of a marketing plan for founders in Hyderabad and overseas, from Sainikpuri, and our own page did not appear in any of the three searches today. A brand that needs sixty posts a month across five platforms, or an influencer campaign, is better served by another name on this page, and we say which.
