A parent does not search for your school by name. They search for a board and a locality, a fee and a locality, an age and a year: CBSE schools near Sainikpuri, best schools in Kompally fees, preschool admission Secunderabad 2027. On 3 November 2026 we ran those three searches and read the first ten results of each, 30 in all. Twenty seven were directory pages. Two were centre pages of one national preschool chain. One was a Sainik School in Uttar Pradesh. Not one was an independent Hyderabad school's own page, and not one, directory or school, carried a 2027 and 28 admissions notice. Admissions in this belt open this month by the directories' own account. This playbook is the page that should exist before they do, in seven steps, with the cost and the timeline.
This is the third admissions playbook on this site after the school calendar in August and the preschool version in October. Those covered the season as a sequence. This one covers the search as the parent types it, because that is where the season actually starts.
What did we find reading 30 search results on 3 November 2026?
The Sainikpuri search returned something we had not seen before. Nine of the first ten results were about Sainik Schools, the defence feeder schools, in Mainpuri, Ambikapur and Vijayapura: directory profiles on Ezyschooling, Schooldekho, SchoolMyKids and Careers360, a parent's question about Class 8 admission, and one school's own site, in Uttar Pradesh. The engine read Sainikpuri as a misspelling of Sainik and answered the question nobody asked. The four pages that actually concerned Sainikpuri sat at positions twelve to fifteen, all from one aggregator, SchoolsUniverse, and none of them named a school: they offered a fee range of fifty thousand to two lakh a year and the observation that admissions often begin in November and may last until January. A locality with a dozen CBSE schools inside two kilometres of the Sainikpuri crossroads produced no school in the first ten results for its own name.
The Kompally search returned ten aggregator pages of ten: a Uniapply list for Kompally and nine Careers360 pages, of which only three concerned Kompally and two of those were commerce college lists. The rest were Hyderabad wide lists of co ed, English medium and CBSE schools, pages two to six. Edustoke's Kompally page sat at eleven. Behind the lists are the schools a Kompally parent actually weighs, Pearson, Sadhu Vaswani International, Indic International, Unicent, Sadhana High, St Ann's in Bolarum, and the fees the aggregators quote for them disagree with each other by the source: one lists Pearson at just under ninety thousand a year and another at seven thousand two hundred a month for nursery, one lists Unicent at one lakh forty five thousand for Class 10. Not one of those schools had its own page in the result to settle it.
The preschool search was the only one to return a school owned page, and both belonged to one chain: EuroKids centre pages for Padmarao Nagar and Yapral, each with an age rule and an enquiry form. The other eight were directory profiles on SchoolsUniverse, Proeves, Schooldekho and Cretaclass, for Birla Open Minds, Sankalp, Alphabetz, FirstCry Intellitots, Grow Inn Steps, Blooming Buds and The Secunderabad Public School, whose listing showed 2026 and 27 session pages with fees marked not updated. Nothing in the ten, and nothing in the six that followed, said a word about 2027.
The original number. Across 3 north Hyderabad school searches run on 3 November 2026 (CBSE schools near Sainikpuri admissions 2027-28; best schools in Kompally Hyderabad fees; preschool admission Secunderabad 2027), the first 10 results of each were counted, 30 in all: 27 directory or aggregator pages (Careers360 11, SchoolMyKids 3, SchoolsUniverse 5, Ezyschooling, Schooldekho 2, IndiaStudyChannel, Uniapply, Proeves, Cretaclass), 2 centre pages of one national preschool chain (EuroKids, Padmarao Nagar and Yapral), 1 school's own site outside Telangana (Sainik School Mainpuri), and 0 independent Hyderabad school owned pages. 9 of the 10 Sainikpuri results concerned Sainik Schools in other states. 0 of 30 carried a 2027-28 admissions notice. Logged as data ledger entry 75, a first party read by the same method as our locality and doctor reads.
Why it matters: a directory page answers the search for every school at once, ranks by its own traffic or by who pays, and shows a fee it copied from somewhere, in some cases last year. When the parent wants to check, the directory links to the school's page if there is one and to a form of its own if there is not. For an independent school in this belt, the form is what the parent finds, and the enquiry goes to the aggregator first.
What is the sequence to follow?
One. List the searches a parent in your catchment actually types. Board plus locality. Fees plus locality. Age plus year. Transport plus locality. Admission dates plus the intake year. A school with three entry points, nursery, Class 1 and Class 6, is at least ten searches, and today none of them return you.
Two. Run each one and count what comes back. Forty minutes for ten searches. If the result is all directories, as it was for all three of ours today, the page you are about to build has no school competing with it. If the engine answers a different question, as it did for Sainikpuri, note the word it tripped on.
Three. Build one admissions page per intake year on your own domain, dated. The heading carries the year: admissions 2027 and 28, in the parent's words. The page carries the classes with seats, the age cutoff by date of birth, the documents, the fee schedule including transport and the one time charges the directories leave out, the dates for forms, interaction and results, the campus address with the landmark a parent uses, and a WhatsApp button that reaches the admissions desk during school hours. No result in our read had this page. The chain whose two centre pages were the only school owned results today has a version of it for every centre, which is why it holds the result.
Four. Build one locality page that says the locality plainly. CBSE school in Sainikpuri, Secunderabad, with the pin code, the crossroads, the colonies the buses cover, in the heading, the address block and the schema. The engine confused Sainikpuri with Sainik School today because nothing from Sainikpuri said the word clearly enough to match. Give it the string. Our Kompally admissions post is the same page for the other end of the belt.
Five. Fix the directory listings, and make them point home. Careers360, Edustoke, Uniapply, SchoolsUniverse and SchoolMyKids held 27 of 30 results today, so they are where the parent lands first. Claim each profile, put the same school name, the same fee schedule and the same intake dates on every one, mark the session as 2027 and 28, and make sure your own domain is on each profile, so the parent who checks finds the page from step three rather than the aggregator's form.
Six. Route the enquiry to a person, and write it down against the page. A parent who messages after finding the admissions page is an enquiry nobody will count unless the desk logs it with the page that produced it. Our three funnel mistakes post covers how the count goes wrong between November and June; a school that cannot say which page produced last season's forms cannot decide which page to write next.
Seven. Once a month through the season, ask an AI tool the same ten searches and read what it says. AI search optimisation, AIO on this site, means being the school ChatGPT or Gemini names when a parent asks it for a CBSE school near Sainikpuri, as distinct from search engine optimisation, SEO, which is being the page Google ranks. Today the engine's summaries quoted fee ranges from aggregators, admitted it had found no Sainikpuri school, and told the parent to contact each school directly. An admissions page with the dates, the cutoff and the fee schedule gives it something better to read. Our AI search page covers the method.
What does this cost, and how long before it works?
Market cost, not our quote. Published Indian agency guides put the floor for a monthly digital marketing engagement at fifteen to twenty thousand rupees a month before any ad spend, per BeTopSEO in May 2026 and Digihify in April 2026, which we set out in our pricing post. An admissions page per intake, a locality page, the directory clean up in step five and the logging in step six is a project of about six weeks at that floor, or two evenings per page if the school's own admissions coordinator writes them with the principal, which is how the smaller schools in A S Rao Nagar reached the results in our September read. The photographs cost a phone. A single season of a paid aggregator's featured listing often costs more than one page that is yours for every season after.
Timeline. An admissions page on a domain that already exists usually appears for the board plus locality search within four to six weeks, because today's count shows nothing school owned is competing for the position. Enquiries follow the season, and the aggregators' own pages say the season in this belt opens in November and runs to January, so a page published this month meets the parent on the way in. Judge at the end of January on forms and WhatsApp messages logged against each page, not on page views.
Who should ignore this. A school that is full by the first week of forms every year and keeps a waiting list it does not need to grow. A branch of a national chain whose head office already holds the page, as the two centre pages today show. A school whose intake comes entirely from siblings and staff. Everyone else between Sainikpuri and Kompally has an open position on their own parents' searches today, and it is open because no school has filled it.
Our education marketing page describes how we run this for a school that would rather not build the pages itself, and the Marketing Operating System is the weekly rhythm that keeps the count in step two honest, including the weeks when a page brings nothing and we say so.
Frequently asked questions
Why does a school need its own admissions page when Edustoke and Uniapply already list it?
Because on 3 November 2026, across three north Hyderabad school searches, 27 of 30 first page results were directory pages and 0 were an independent school's own page. A directory lists your school beside twenty others with a fee it copied from somewhere and a ranking that reflects its own traffic. A dated admissions page on your own domain carries the intake year, the age cutoff, the documents, the fee schedule and the WhatsApp route, and it is the page the directory links to when a parent wants to check. No result in our read had a 2027 and 28 admissions notice at all.
What should the admissions page for 2027 and 28 contain?
The intake year in the heading, the classes with seats, the age cutoff by date of birth, the documents, the fee schedule including transport and the one time charges the directories leave out, the dates for forms, interaction and results, the campus address with the landmark a parent uses, and a WhatsApp button that reaches the admissions desk during school hours. Write it in the words a parent types, CBSE school in Sainikpuri, not an institution of learning.
How do we stop the search engine confusing Sainikpuri with Sainik School?
By giving it the string to match. On 3 November 2026 the engine returned nine Sainik School pages from other states for a Sainikpuri query, because nothing from Sainikpuri said the word clearly enough. Put Sainikpuri, Secunderabad and the pin code in the page heading, the address block and the schema, keep the same spelling on every directory profile, and the engine has a locality to join rather than a near match to guess at.
How long before an admissions page brings an enquiry?
Four to six weeks for the page to appear on a board plus locality search, because, as today's count shows, no school owned page is competing for the position in the north Hyderabad belt. Enquiries follow the season: the aggregators themselves say admissions in this belt open in November and run to January, so a page published this month meets the parent at the right time. Judge at the end of the season on forms and WhatsApp messages logged against the page, not on page views.
